8 small to medium Apple (washed, halved and cored)
1 ⅔ cups dry Cider
½ cup brown sugar (depending on taste)
½ lemon (juice)
In addition
1.333 cups double cream
2 packets whipped cream stabilizer (optional)
3 tsps Maple syrup
Whiskey

1 Cutting board, 1 Peeler, 1 Small knife, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Small pot mit Deckel, 1 Immersion blender, 1 Tablespoon

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2.
Brush the cut surfaces of the apples with lemon juice and put the two halves back together.
3.
Put the cider into a pan with the sugar and the rest of the lemon juice and boil until the sugar has dissolved. Put the apples into a baking dish, add the cider sauce and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
4.
Whip the cream until stiff (with the cream stabiliser if using) and mix in the maple syrup and whisky.
5.
When the apples are done take them out of the oven, put a little cream into the middle of each, replace the top halves and serve on plates with the cider sauce and the rest of the whipped cream.
