- 1 pc Parisienne (About 20 cm long, or ciabatta or other rustic white bread)
- 4 Tbsps slivered almonds
- 125 grams Goat cheese
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- peppers (White)
- 2 sprigs Basil
- 3 Tbsps liquid honey

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven broiler. Cut baguette diagonally into 2-3 cm (approximately 3/4-inch) thick slices. Lay next to each other on the bread on the oven rack and broil until crispy on the second rack from the top for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully. Toast almonds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown for 1-2 minutes while stirring.

Season the goat cheese with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Rinse the basil, shake dry and pluck the leaflets. Tear larger leaves. Spread the goat cheese on the toasted bread. Arrange the browned almonds decoratively over the cheese and sprinkle with basil. Drizzle the liquid honey over the cheese and serve.
