- 1 Tbsp lemon juice

- ⅔ cup soft light brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (180° fan)|400F|gas 6.

Combine the apple, blackberries, lemon juice, caster sugar, and two tablespoons of water in a large saucepan. Cover and cook over a medium heat until the apple starts to soften and break down.

Meanwhile, pulse together the flour, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a food processor until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Spread out the mixture on a large baking tray. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until golden and toasted.
5.
Spoon the fruit mixture onto serving plates and top with the crumble before serving.
