- For the patties
- 1 green Bell pepper (very finely diced)
- 1 carrot (very finely diced)
- 125 grams finely chopped onions
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 finely chopped red chili peppers
- 2 Tbsps cornstarch
- 70 grams finely grated Cheese
- 100 grams breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- salt
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- For the vegetables
- 250 grams Baby corn cob (chopped, from a can)
- Bell pepper (1 each red and green, thin strips)
- 2 white Cabbage (fine strips)
- 1 small soybean sprout
- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- salt

Preparation steps

For the vegetables: Heat oil in a wok or frying pan and fry bell peppers, cabbage and onion while stirring. Add turmeric and about 1/2 cup water, cover and cook 4 minutes. Add corn and sprouts and cook another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

For the patties: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and add onions, garlic, bell pepper and carrot and fry for 4-5 minutes. Season with salt, stir in cornstarch and cheese and allow to cool. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions, shape into patties and roll in breadcrumbs and sesame seeds. Fry in oil in a large frying pan on both sides until golden brown.

Serve patties with vegetables on plates. If desired, serve with basmati rice sprinkled with peanuts.
