- ½ cup butter (softened)
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- ½ egg (beaten)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.333 cup Corn starch

- ⅔ cup butter (softened)
- 0.333 cup Marzipan
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ eggs (beaten)
- ½ tsp Almond extract
- 12 Tbsps seedless Raspberry jam
- sugar sprinkles
Preparation steps

Put the butter and sugar into a bowl and beat together until creamy. Beat in the egg. Stir in the flour and cornflour and mix to a stiff dough. Roll out the dough and stamp out 20 hearts using a biscuit cutter.

Place on baking tray lined with baking parchment. Insert a wooden lolly stick into the base of each heart. Chill for 1 hour.

Heat the oven to 190°C/170°C fan/375°F/gas 5.

Mash together the butter and marzipan. Beat in the flour, eggs and almond extract. Put the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a plain nozzle. Pipe the mixture in a spiral on each of the hearts. Put the raspberry jam into another piping bag fitted with a small plain nozzle and pipe a spiral of jam just inside the marzipan swirl.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and scatter with the sugar sprinkles.
