Preparation steps

1.

Wipe the mushrooms with paper towels and remove the stems. Chop the stems. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Rinse and trim the spinach and coarsely chop.

Saute the onions in 30 grams (approximately 1 ounce) butter in a pan. Add the mushroom stems and spinach and season with salt and pepper. Rinse the tomato, chop and stir into the spinach. At the end, also stir in the cheese.

3.

Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps and place in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, cover with small pieces of butter and bake about 15 minutes in a preheated oven (180°C) (approximately 350°F).
