1 Cinnamon stick
1 l Grain (alcohol)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the oranges and limes and cut into slices. Rinse the currants, lemon balm and mint and pat dry. Place the orange and lime slices in large, glass jar along with the currants, lemon balm, mint, cinnamon stick and sugar. Pour the grain alcohol into the jar and seal tightly.

Store the mixture in a cool dark place for about 4 weeks, shaking occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth and pour into sealable bottles or carafes. Let stand for another 4 weeks before serving or giving as gifts.
