- 400 grams peeled shrimp (deveined)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps Rice wine
- 80 grams Bamboo shoots
- 2 scallions
- 1 garlic clove
- ½ Red paprika
- ½ yellow paprika
- 4 Tbsps Wok oil
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 tsp Lemongrass paste
- 1 Tbsp Lime juice
- 150 milliliters Vegetable broth
- ½ tsp cornstarch
- 200 grams Basmati rice
Preparation steps

Season shrimp with salt and pepper and sprinkle with rice wine.

Drain bamboo shoots and cut into fine strips. Rinse scallions and peppers, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Peel garlic and finely chop. Cook rice according to package instructions.

Heat wok and add oil. Saute garlic, spring onions, peppers and bamboo. Add shrimp and cook another 2 minutes. Season with soy sauce and lemon grass paste. Pour vegetable broth and lime juice over everything, cover and simmer 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix cornstarch with a little cold water, then stir into sauce until it thickens. Distribute rice in bowls and add shrimp and vegetables.
