- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 2 Tbsps granulated sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 3 Tbsps unsalted butter (melted and divided)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 medium-sized Banana (sliced)
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream (whipped)
- ¼ cup Maple syrup

Preparation steps

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. In a second bowl, whisk together the egg, sour cream, milk 2 tablespoons of melted butter and vanilla extract.

Whisk the wet into the dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated. Set aside to rest while you preheat your pan.

Preheat a griddle or non stick pan to medium heat. Add some butter to grease the pan then pour a few tablespoons at a time of batter to form a medium sized pancake. Cook until bubbles appear and start popping, then flip and continue to cook on the other side until golden. Remove to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm while you make the rest.

Serve a few pancakes with additional butter, sliced bananas, a dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of maple syrup.
