- 500 grams starchy potatoes
- salt
- 2 onions
- 250 grams button Mushroom
- 800 grams Ground meat
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Tomato paste
- 250 milliliters Beef broth
- 2 Tbsps finely chopped thyme
- freshly ground peppers
- 100 milliliters milk
- 2 Tbsps butter
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 4 Tbsps grated Parmesan
Preparation steps

Peel the potatoes, rinse and boil in salted water about 25 minutes. Peel the onions and chop finely. Clean the mushrooms and cut into slices. Cook the ground meat in hot oil until crumbly, add the onions, mushrooms and tomato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes. Pour in the broth and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the thyme and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Strain potatoes, drain and mash. Stir in the hot milk and butter and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Fill 4 ramekins with the ground beef, spread the mashed potatoes on top, sprinkle with cheese and bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
