Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Peel the potatoes, rinse and cook about 25 minutes in salted water. Peel the onions and chop finely. Cook the ground lamb and onions in hot oil. Add the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Drain potatoes, let evaporate and mash.

Stir in the hot milk and butter and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Butter 4 small serving ramekins (diameter 6-7 cm, approximately 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 inches). Fill the ground lamb in the forms, spread the mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
