Blanch tomatoes in hot water, rinse in cold water and peel, dice into small pieces. Peel onions and garlic, dice bacon. Heat margarine in a pan and cook bacon for a few minutes. Add onions and garlic and braise for about 10 minutes. Combine with semolina mixture and mix well. Make16-18 balls from semolina mixture and flatten with a fork. Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Season tomatoes with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Rinse and chop tomatoes and sprinkle over tomatoes. Drain gnocchi.
