Gradually add butter and eggs to the mixture, whisking well and let thicken for about 20 minutes. Blanch tomatoes in hot water, rinse in cold water and peel, dice into small pieces. Peel onions and garlic, dice bacon. Heat margarine in a pan and cook bacon for a few minutes. Add onions and garlic and braise for about 10 minutes. Combine with semolina mixture and mix well. Make16-18 balls from semolina mixture and flatten with a fork. Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Season tomatoes with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Rinse and chop tomatoes and sprinkle over tomatoes. Drain gnocchi. Arrange tomatoes on plates, top with gnocchi and serve.
