Preparation steps

Rinse the lemon under hot water and pat dry. Finely grate the zest of the lemon. Rinse the herbs and pat dry. Remove the leaves from the stems and coarsely chop. Mix the lemon zest and the herbs with the salt until thoroughly combined. Transfer the flavored salt to a sealable container, like a jar.
