8 cups Baked Ziti
4 cups milk
½ cup unsalted butter (divided)
0.333 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups Gruyere (grated)
2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
½ tsp freshly ground Black pepper
½ tsp Nutmeg
4 ½ cups cooked Lobster meat
1 ½ cups fresh, white breadcrumbs
How healthy are the main ingredients?
Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 190°C | 375F | gas 5.
2.
Cook macaroni according to the directions on the package. Drain well.
3.
Meanwhile, heat the milk in a small saucepan until steaming, but not boiling. In a separate, large pot, melt 6 tablespoons of butter and add the flour. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring with a whisk. While still whisking, add the hot milk and cook for a minute or two more, until thickened and smooth. Remove from heat.
4.
Off the heat, add the Gruyere, Cheddar, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the cooked macaroni and lobster and stir well. Transfer to a baking dish.
5.
Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, combine them with the fresh bread crumbs, and sprinkle on the top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the crumbs are browned on the top. Serve hot.
