- 500 grams Green cabbage
- 500 grams Rutabaga
- 800 grams Pork butt
- 2 onions
- 2 stalks Leeks
- clarified butter (for sauteing)
- 1 ½ liters Beef broth
- 4 Juniper berries
- 1 pinch cilantro
- 2 sprigs marjoram
- 200 grams waxy potatoes
- 4 pcs Raw sausage (such as Rohpolnische, Pfefferbeißer)

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse cabbage and rutabaga and cut into small cubes.

Rinse and pat dry meat, chop coarsely.
3.
Peel onions and chop finely.
4.
Rinse leeks and cut into rings.
5.
Heat little butter in a saucepan and saute leeks and onions for a few minutes, add broth and bring to a boil. Add meat, cabbage, herbs and season with salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, for about 50-60 minutes on medium heat.
6.
Peel and rinse potatoes, dice and add to the stew. Simmer for another 20-30 minutes. Add sausages and heat through. Serve.
