- 2 ½ cups Puff pastry
- flour (for rolling out)
- 1 tsp Sugar crystal
- 2 tsps coarsely ground peppers
- 1 egg (beaten)

Preparation steps
1.
Roll the pastry out on a floured surface to around 30 x 35 cm.

Scatter over the sea salt and pepper. With the shortest end facing you, take the long edges of the pastry and roll them towards each other to meet in the middle. Press gently together and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180 fan) | 400°F | gas 6.

Slice the pastry roll into 1 cm thick slices and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and bake for about 15 minutes until puffed and golden.
