Savory Tart with Mushrooms and Leeks
Ingredients
- For the dough
- 150 grams Pastry flour
- 100 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation steps
Combine flour, butter, egg and salt. Knead into a smooth dough, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out dough between plastic wrap sheets and line tart pan with it, making 3 cm high edge (approximately 1 1/4 inch). Prebake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximatley 350°F) for about 15 minutes.
For the filling: rinse and dry leeks, cut into rings. Clean mushrooms and cut into pieces. Heat butter in a pan and saute leeks and mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Spread on dough base (without liquid). Combine sour cream with cream, thyme, cheese and eggs and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over leeks and mushrooms mixture and bake in preheated oven at 180°C 9approximately 350°F) for about 30 minutes.
Garnish with thyme and serve lukewarm.
