- 1 sm head Romaine lettuce
- 12 Anchovy (in brine)
- 16 Caper
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 150 grams kitchen-ready, crude shrimp
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- salt
- sugar
- white freshly ground pepper

Preparation steps

Trim lettuce, separate into individual leaves, rinse thoroughly and spin dry. Cut large leaves into piece, if desired. Peel garlic and chop very finely. Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the garlic and fry briefly, then add the shrimp and fry 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.

Mix shrimp with the lemon juice and vinegar and season with a little salt, 1 pinch of sugar and pepper to taste. Drain the anchovies. Arrange lettuce in bowls, arrange shrimp with the lemon dressing on top, add the anchovies and garnish with capers.
