Roast Pork and Star Fruit with Pineapple Compote

- 1 ½ kilograms lean Roasted pork
- 2 large Star fruit
- 1 tsp cloves
- ½ tsp allspice
- 3 Tbsps butter
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil

Preparation steps
Crush cloves and allspice in a mortar. Rinse pork, pat dry, rub with spice mixture, season with salt and pepper. Marinate 1 hour, then make a cross-shaped cut (or in the form of carambola) in the middle of the meat. Rinse carambola and cook in a little water 1 minute, remove and drain well. Place the fruit in the center of the meat. The ends of the carambola should be exactly level with the meat. Tie with kitchen string. In a large roasting pan heat butter and oil, brown the roast vigorously on all sides, place in the oven and roast at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 1 ½ hours. As needed pour in some water. Let stand briefly before serving and remove string.
For the pineapple compote, add cubed fruit to 3 tablespoons of water and sugar, bring to boil, simmer for 2 minutes and cool.
