- 100 grams streaky Bacon
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
- 1 small onion
- 3 Tbsps butter
- 1 l Beef broth (Instant)
- 250 grams short grain rice
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 200 grams Frozen pea
- 50 grams grated Parmesan
- parsley (for garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Cut or chop bacon into thin strips. Peel onion and chop finely. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet, add the bacon and onion and saute until the onion is translucent.
2.
Rinse the rice, and cook in the broth according to package directions, Stir in the thawed peas during the last few minutes of cooking time.
3.
Season with salt and pepper , add the butter and Parmesan, fluffing with a fork. Serve with parsley.
