Quick Vegetable Pizza
Ingredients
- For the dough
- 200 grams Quark
- 5 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsps dried oregano
- salt
- 400 grams Pastry flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- For the sauce and toppings
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 pkg pureed Tomatoes (500 grams) (approximately 18 ounces)
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- peppers
- 150 grams Mozzarella
- 400 grams Gouda
- 100 grams Sweet corn (canned)
- 1 onion
- 1 Zucchini
- 100 grams button Mushroom
- 1 Red Bell pepper
- Fat (for the baking sheet)
Preparation steps
For the dough: Combine the flour and baking powder. Add the eggs, oil, oregano, quark and a pinch of salt. Transfer to a greased baking sheet and roll out into a disc.
For the sauce: Peel the garlic, mince and with combine with the pureed tomatoes and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper and add 1 teaspoon oregano, if desired. Spread over the pizza. For the toppings: Cut the cheese into small cubes. Drain the corn. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Rinse, peel and slice the zucchini. Wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice. Rinse the peppers, cut in half, remove the stems, seeds and pith and chop. Arrange the vegetables over the pizza and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) (approximately 350°F) for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
