- 1 packet Shortcrust pastry
- 4 Tbsps Dijon mustard
- 8 Pork sausage
- 1 egg (beaten)
- Ketchup (to serve)
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200ºC (180º fan).
2.
Roll the pastry out to a rectangle sized 40cm x 20cm and cut across the width at an angle so you have 8 triangles, each 10cm at their widest point.
3.
Spread the mustard onto the pastry triangles, place a sausage at the top of each one and roll up, moistening the tip so it forms a seal.
4.
Place the sausage rolls on a greased baking tray, brush with the beaten egg and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
5.
Serve the sausage rolls with ketchup.
