50 grams melted butter
50 grams Pastry flour
600 milliliters milk
20 grams butter
100 grams Poppy seeds (to decorate)
100 grams powdered sugar (to decorate)

Preparation steps

Crumble the yeast into the warm milk and dissolve. Stir the salt and sugar into the milk. Add the flour and knead with the eggs for 6-8 minutes. Knead in the melted butter. Let rise for 45 minutes in a warm place.

Divide the dough into two portions. Roll both portions into a two finger thick log. cut about 30 pieces and shape into rolls. Rp;; in flour and let rest for about 20 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (approximately 350°F) for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool and dip the rolls in hot milk. Once soaked, remove , drain and place in a buttered pan. Mix together the poppy seeds and powdered sugar. Bake in a hot oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 10 minutes.

Cool, and serve as desired.
