Pita with Beef

- 500 grams Ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 slices Toast
- 1 egg
- 1 generous pinch chili peppers
- 1 pinch Sumac
- breadcrumbs (as needed)
- 1 Tbsp white Sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp black Sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- Also
- 6 leaves Iceberg lettuce
- 1 red onion
- 8 Cherry tomatoes
- 4 Pita bread
- salt
- peppers
- 300 grams Sour cream (for serving)
Preparation steps
Place the ground beef in a bowl. Peel the garlic and squeeze it. Place the break in lukewarm water to soak and then squeeze well. Add to the ground beef, egg, chile and sumac. Knead everything well and add breadcrumbs until it forms a good malleable dough. Form into 4 shapes and roll in the sesame mixture, pressing well. Cook in hot butter on both sides until golden brown for 7-10 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
Rinse the lettuce, shake dry and cut into strips. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Rinse the cherry tomatoes, pat dry and cut into slices. Mix the salad with onions and tomato slices and distribute in the pitas. Season lightly with pepper and salt and place the beef patty in each pita. Arrange on plates and serve with sour cream.
