- 4 Tbsps Arame seaweed (30 grams)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 2 Tbsps White vinegar
- 1 onion
- 800 grams Tuna steak
- 3 Tbsps soy sauce
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 Tbsps sesame oil

Preparation steps

Soak seaweed in 500 ml (approximately 2 cups) of water. Peel and dice onion. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until translucent. Add seaweed with soaking water and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes on low heat. Cool.

Season cooled salad with vinegar.

Rinse fish, pat dry, season with salt and pepper and marinate, refrigerated, for 30 minutes in soy sauce, season with plenty of coarsely ground pepper. Heat sesame oil in a pan, pat tuna fillet dry, season with pepper thickly and sear tuna for about 4 minutes per side. Cut tuna into thick slices and arrange on top of salad. Serve.
