- 4 leaves Iceberg lettuce
- 2 onions
- 8 slices Toast
- 4 Tbsps Dijon mustard
- 80 grams Double cream cheese (60-75% fat)
- 240 grams Pastrami (sliced)
- 20 grams butter
- 2 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

Rinse, trim, and dry the lettuce. Peel and finely dice the onions. Top 4 pieces of bread with 1/2 tablespoon of mustard. Top with the 1/2 of the cream cheese, then the pastrami. Sprinkle the onions over the top of the pastrami.

Spread the remaining slices of bread with the remaining cream cheese. Place over the bottom half of the sandwich. Melt the butter and the oil in a pan, and toast both sides until golden brown. Halve diagonally and serve immediately.
