- 150 grams Walnut
- 120 milliliters milk
- 40 grams white bread (crustless)
- 1 garlic clove
- 30 grams grated Parmesan
- 30 grams soft Blue cheese
- 1 tsp freshly chopped marjoram
- salt
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 6 Tbsps Whipped cream
- peppers
- 400 grams Tagliatelle
- Walnut (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Soak white bread in the milk. Toast walnuts on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 160°C (approximately 325°F) for about 10 minutes, then rub off the brown skins. Finely grind 2/3 of the walnuts and coarsely chop the rest. Squeeze the white bread. Peel garlic and press through a garlic press. Mix bread and garlic thoroughly with the ground nuts, Parmesan and blue cheese. Season with salt and marjoram, stir in the cream and then season with pepper. Stir in the coarsely chopped walnuts.

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to package instructions until al dente, drain and mix with the pesto. Serve garnished with walnut halves.
