4 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps olive oil
800 grams peeled Tomatoes (canned)
300 milliliters Vegetable broth
salt

1 Tbsp freshly chopped oregano
1 shallot
20 grams butter
250 grams ground chicken
250 grams ground pork
1 egg
3 Tbsps breadcrumbs
500 grams Whole Grain Pasta

Preparation steps

Peel garlic and chop finely. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan and saute half of garlic until soft. Add tomatoes and broth, season with salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer for 25-30 minutes on medium heat.

Peel shallot and chop finely. Heat butter in a pan and saute shallot with remaining garlic for 1-2 minutes. Remove from pan and combine with both ground meats, egg and breadcrumbs. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.

Make meatballs and cook in tomato sauce for about 20-25 minutes on low heat. Cook pasta in boiling salted water for 15 minutes until al dente. Drain, mix with sauce and serve in a small soup pot. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan.
