- ⅔ cup semi-sweet chocolate (60% cocoa, chopped)
- ½ cup butter
- 4 eggs
- ⅔ cup sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Banana (peeled and sliced)
- 2 Tbsps brown sugar

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 gegebenenfalls Blender, 1 Measuring cups
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180C fan / 200C / 400F / gas 6.
2.
Melt the chocolate over simmering water stirring in the butter little by little in small pieces. Do not allow the chocolate to get too hot.
3.
Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy and fold in the melted chocolate.
4.
Sieve the flour and cocoa powder onto the egg mixture and fold in.
5.
Cover the batter and chill for around 2 hours.
6.
Grease the muffin pan and dust with flour.
7.
Spoon the batter into the pan cups (or use a piping bag if you find it easier) and place a slice of banana on top of each.
8.
Bake for around 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Remove from the muffin pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and leave to cool completely.
