2 cups macaroni
2 medium Zucchini (thinly sliced)
1 ½ cups Whole milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
4 Tbsps butter
1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese (grated)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water until cooked al dente, then drain.
3.
Cook the zucchini for 2 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain well and reserve 1/2 cup of the water. Place the zucchini and macaroni in an ovenproof dish.

Whisk the milk, flour and butter with the reserved zucchini water in a pan over low heat until boiling and thickened. Stir in 1 1/4 cup of the cheese with seasoning to taste. When cheese is fully incorporated, pour the mixture over the macaroni and zucchini. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the paprika if desired.
5.
Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
