- 1 kilogram Bell pepper (1 each: red, green and yellow)
- 700 grams Beefsteak tomato
- 150 grams onions
- 50 grams marbled Bacon
- 2 Tbsps Lard
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- Sour cream

Preparation steps
1.
Slice peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and white inner skins. Rinse, quarter and cut into wide strips.
2.
Blanch tomatoes, removing skin and stem, then dice. Peel onions, halve, and slice into thin half-rings.
3.
Cube bacon. In a large pan, heat the lard and fry the bacon over medium heat. Add onions and paprika and saute.
4.
Add peppers and tomatoes to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Saute vegetables over high heat for about 3 minutes. Let the liquid reduce, then cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream as desired.
