500 grams lamb (leg)
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
salt
peppers (freshly ground)
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp Cumin (ground)
¼ l Broth
400 grams carrots
300 grams Rice
1 can Apricot (250 grams drained)
½ tsp Turmeric

Preparation steps

1.

Trim lamb and cut into cubes, season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan and cook lamb with added cinnamon and cumin until browned. Add broth and simmer for about 20 minutes. Rinse carrot, peel, cut into small pieces and add to lamb after 10 minutes of cooking.

Cook rice in salted water according to package instructions.

Drain apricots and cut into wedges.

Heat remaining oil in a pan, saute turmeric briefly. Add rice and cook for about 5 minutes. Add lamb with carrots and apricots. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
