Nutritional values

Carrots contain a lot of beta-carotene, which is a carotenoid that intercepts cell-damaging free radicals. Beta-carotene is also converted into vitamin A in the body, which benefits our eyes.

You can use sliced up sweet potatoes if you don't have any carrots on hand. You can also use a colorful mix of purple carrots, parsnips, and orange carrots.

The liquid should be almost completely evaporated.

2.

Add the honey and the remaining butter to the carrots shortly before the end of cooking and glaze while swirling. Season with salt and lemon juice and serve with rinsed dill for garnish.
