- 4 Taco shells
- 250 grams Ground meat
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 pinch chili peppers
- 1 Tomato
- salt

- 2 Tbsps Cheese (such as Monterey Jack, grated)
- 4 Lettuce
- Sour cream
- scallions

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the onion and garlic, and finely chop. Brown the ground beef in oil. Add the onion, garlic and tomato paste and saute briefly. Add about 100-150 ml (approximately 3-5 ounces) of water, season with chili powder, salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.

Meanwhile, put the taco shells in the oven to warm. Slice a scallion on the diagonal. Add to the sour cream, season with salt and pepper and divide into 2 bowls. Garnish with additional scallion.

Rinse the tomatoes, cut in half, remove seeds, and dice. Fill taco shells with lettuce, beef mixture, diced tomatoes and grated cheese. Serve with sour cream.
