Ingredients

½ cup butter
1 cup Dark chocolate (chopped)
3 eggs
0.333 cup sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
1 ⅔ cups flour
1 tsp Baking powder
cocoa powder

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°C, gas 6.
2.
Melt the butter and chocolate together and leave to cool.
3.
Beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and the cinnamon. Gradually add the chocolate butter mixture and mix well.
4.
Mix together the flour and baking powder and sieve into the mixture.
5.
Pour the mixture into the cake tin and spread evenly. Bake for around 45 min (test with a wooden stick to see if it's done). If the cake browns too quickly cover with aluminium foil.
6.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool. Remove from the tin and serve dusted with cocoa powder.
