- 3 slices Beef fillet (thinly sliced)
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 can diced Tomatoes
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 handful Basil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 tsp sugar
- 500 grams gnocchi Pasta

Preparation steps

Cut beef into strips. Peel and dice onion. Peel and dice carrot. Peel garlic cloves and cut in half. Heat oil in pan. Saute beef until lightly browned. Add onion, carrot and garlic and saute briefly. Add tomatoes, cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and toss with the sauce and the basil. Serve immediately.
