- 3 cups rolled oats
- ⅔ cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup Coconut flakes
- ½ cup Pumpkin seed
- ½ cup Sunflower seed
- ¼ cup butter
- 6 Tbsps Molasses
- 2 tsps ground ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup Date (chopped)
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 170°C (150° fan) 325°F gas 3. Grease a 20cm|8" square baking tin.
2.
Mix together the oats, nuts and seeds.
3.
Heat the butter and treacle in a small pan until melted, then add the ginger and salt and mix into the dry ingredients.
4.
Stir in the chopped dates and pour into the tin.
5.
Bake for about 15 minutes, allow to cool then cut into squares.
