- 1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
- 1 cup Almond flour
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ⅔ cup caster sugar
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Cocktail Cherries (drained)
- ½ cup Apricot Jam (warmed)
- 1 cup sliced almonds (chopped)

1 großer Pot, 1 Skillet, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Slotted spoon, 1 Pizza cutter, 1 Pasta machine, 1 große Bowl, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Plastic wrap, 1 Baking sheet
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 160°C (140° fan) 325°F gas 3. Line 2 large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda and spices into a bowl. Set aside.

Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy. Beat in the egg.

Stir in the treacle and lemon juice, then stir in the flour mixture to form a soft dough.
5.
Roll the dough into 2cm|1" balls and roll in the sugar crystals to coat. Place well spaced apart on the baking trays.
6.
Bake for about 12 minutes until firm and golden. Cool on the baking trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
