Chocolate Nut Biscuits
- 1 ½ cups mixed Nut (almonds, pecans, pistachios, walnuts)
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 3 Tbsps brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 2 cups Chocolate (70% cocoa solids, roughly chopped)
- 1 cup Milk chocolate (25% cocoa solids, roughly chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Nut oil
1 Oven-proof pot oder Bräter mit Deckel, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Peeler
Place the nuts and rolled oats in a food processor and chop roughly.
Put the sugar and honey in a small pan over a low heat and allow to caramelise then stir in the nut mixture.
Spread the nut mixture out on non -stick baking paper, let cool and crumble into pieces.
Melt the chocolate with the oil in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Let cool slightly and then drop spoonfuls onto non-stick baking paper.
Leave to set slightly, scatter with the nut mixture and leave to cool completely.
