- 1 cup shelled almonds
- 1 cup shelled Hazelnuts
- 1 cup shelled Walnut
- 1 cup dried Figs (diced)
- 1 cup mixed Candied fruit (diced)
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp Coriander
- ¼ tsp Ginger powder
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup honey
- 2 Tbsps all-purpose flour

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven), 350°F, gas 4 and line a baking tin with grease-proof paper.
2.
Dry roast the nuts, leave to cool and then chop. Transfer to a bowl with the figs, fruits and spices.
3.
Place the icing sugar and the honey in a bain-marie and stir continuously on a low heat until the mixture melts and becomes stringy. Leave to cool, stirring continuously.
4.
Add to the dry ingredients and stir in the flour. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking tin and spread evenly.
5.
Bake for 25-30 min. Remove from the oven and leave to cool, then remove from the tin. Before serving, dust with icing sugar and cut into slices.
