Frozen Fruit Granitas

- ⅞ cup sugar
- 1 Lime (juiced and zested)
- ⅞ cup water
- ⅜ cup white Grape juice
- 3.333 cups Melon (without seeds)

Granitas can be made with any kind of melon. Here we used yellow watermelon, red watermelon and Galia melon.
1 Bowl, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon
Put the sugar, lime zest and juice into the pan with the water and bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer for
about 3 minutes then strain and add the white grape juice.
Chop and then finely puree the melon flesh and mix with the sugar water.
Transfer to a metal dish and put into the freezer for 3-5 hours. Stir well with a whisk after the first hour, then continue freezing, stirring every half hour with a fork.
To serve, either stir well or crush, pile into chilled glasses and garnish with melon slices.
