- 100 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- 125 milliliters milk
- 1 egg
- 500 grams Haddock fillet
- vegetable oil (for frying)

- 2 Tbsps Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsps Yogurt (0.1% fat)
- 1 Tbsp coarsely chopped Fresh herbs (such as cilantro or dill)
- salt
- peppers
- lemon juice
- 4 Taco shells
- Lime wedge (for serving)
- parsley (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Sift the flour into a bowl with the baking powder, salt, and pepper. Add the egg and the milk and mix well. Mix until a batter thick enough to coat a whisk forms. Rinse the fish and pat dry. Slice the fish into 0.5 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) slices and add to the batter, ensuring that the fish is coated completely.

Heat the oil to 175°C (approximately 350°F) and fry the fish until golden brown, 1-2 minutes.

Mix the mayonnaise with the yogurt and the mixed herbs. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Put the taco shells in the oven to warm for a few minutes at 100°C (approximately 200°F). Remove the shells, add the fish, and serve with lime wedges and parsley leaves. Serve with the herb mayonnaise on the side.
