500 milliliters Buttermilk

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the strawberries, hull and cut in half, if large. Rinse the limes, finely grate the zest and squeeze the juice. Toss the strawberries with the vanilla sugar and 1/2 the lime zest and set aside to macerate for 10 minutes. Toast the oatmeal and almonds in a frying pan. Chop the pistachios coarsely and mix with the oatmeal and almonds. Mix the buttermilk with the lime juice and remaining lime zest. Arrange the strawberries in serving bowls, pour the buttermilk over top and sprinkle with the oatmeal-almond mixture.
