1 stale Bread roll
4 cups minced lamb
1 egg
1 garlic clove (chopped)
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp Curry powder
breadcrumbs
Oil (for frying)
4 Bread roll
4 Iceberg lettuce (cut into strips)
4 Tbsps Ketchup

Preparation steps

Soften the stale roll in lukewarm water. Wring out and mix with the meat, egg, garlic, thyme and curry powder. If necessary add breadcrumbs to the dough to make it pliable. Season with salt and ground black pepper and shape into 8 small burgers. Fry in hot oil on each side for 2-3 minutes.

Halve the rolls and if desired toast them. Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom halves of the rolls and then place the burgers on top. Spread with ketchup, place the top half of the roll on top and serve.
