Preparation steps

Hard-boil the eggs, run under cold water until cool, peel and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the egg yolks and mash with a fork. Stir in the quark and cream cheese. Peel the shallot and finely chop. Mix into the cheese mixture and season with salt and pepper. Use a small ice cream scoop to scoop the mixture into small balls and arrange in the egg halves.
