1 pkg yellow Cake glaze (425 g | 15 oz)
cup butter (melted)
4 large, fresh eggs
1 ⅓ cups local Maple syrup
cup dark brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup Golden raisins (chopped)
1 cup shelled Walnut (chopped)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Set aside 2/3 cup cake mix. In a large bowl, combine remaining cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg. Stir until completely blended, mixture will be crumbly. Press into prepared pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light golden brown.

In a large bowl, combine remaining cake mix, maple syrup, remaining eggs, brown sugar and vanilla. Using a hand mixer beat at low speed for 3 minutes. Pour over crust and sprinkle with raisins and walnuts.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely in the pan prior to cutting into bars. Cut and serve.
