400 grams Beef (from the hip)
1 Red Pepperoncini
4 Lemon leaves
2 Basil
400 milliliters Coconut milk
1 Tbsp Red Curry paste
80 grams Bamboo shoots (cut into strips, canned)
1 tsp Palm sugar
3 Tbsps Fish sauce

Preparation steps

1.

Cut beef into thin strips. Rinse peperoncini, remove stalk and seeds and cut into quarters. Rinse lemon leaves and basil, pat dry and chop.

Boil 100 ml (approximately 3 1/2 ounces) coconut milk with curry paste over medium temperature until reduced. Add beef and bamboo shoots and cook while stirring until beef is cooked.

3.

Then add sugar, fish sauce, lemon leaves and remaining coconut milk and bring to a boil briefly. Season with basil and serve garnished with peperoncini.
