- 4 cups short cut macaroni
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 1 boneless, skinless Chicken breast (cubed)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 slice Bread (crusts removed cut into cubes)
- 1 ¼ cups Frozen Spinach
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup cream
- 1 Tbsp Thickeners (food group)
- 1 Tbsp Parmesan (grated)
- 8 cherry Tomatoes (halved)
- To garnish
- 4 Basil

Preparation

1 Measuring cups, 1 Pot mit Deckel, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Cutting board, 1 Teaspoon
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil and fry the chicken for 10 minutes, turning as needed until cooked through.
2.
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to packet instructions, for about 10 minutes, until al dente, tender yet with a slight bite.
3.
Put the spinach into a another pan and warm through to defrost.
4.
Add the milk to the spinach pan with the cream, bring to the boil and stir in the thickening granules.
5.
Stir in the Parmesan and season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
6.
Drain the macaroni and add to the creamy sauce with the chicken and tomatoes.
7.
Fry the bread in butter for a couple of minutes until golden brown, to make croutons.
8.
Serve the pasta in bowls topped with the croutons and garnished with basil leaves.
