4 cups ground Beef
4 rashers fatty Bacon (chopped)
1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese (sliced)
4 Multi-grain roll (split in half)
2 Tbsps Mayonnaise
1 cup Arugula
0.333 cup tomato Ketchup
1 large Beefsteak tomato (sliced)
salt
freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 220°C(200° fan)|425F|gas 8.
2.
Mix the steak mince with plenty of salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Divide the mixture into four and shape into patties.
3.
Place on a large baking tray and place a thumbprint in the centre of each patty.
4.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the burgers register at least 70°C / 158F on a meat thermometer. Remove from the oven, top with the bacon and Cheddar, and return to the oven for 4-5 minutes until melted and golden.
5.
Remove the patties from the oven and leave to rest to one side. Toast the rolls in the oven for 2 minutes.
6.
Remove the rolls and spread the bottom halves with mayonnaise. Top with rocket leaves and then the patties.
7.
Top with ketchup, tomato slices, and the top of the rolls before serving.
