- 3 ½ ozs plain Dark chocolate (60% cocoa solids)
- 4 ½ ozs Chocolate cake
- 4 ½ ozs Sponge cake (plain)
- 2 Tbsps Shredded coconut
- 2 Tbsps chopped almonds
- 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
- ½ Tbsp water
- multi-colored sugar sprinkles

Preparation steps
1.
Melt the plain chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering (not boiling) water. Remove from the heat.
2.
Crumble the chocolate cake and plain cake into a bowl and stir in the melted chocolate, coconut and almonds until well combined.
3.
Roll golf ball sized pieces of the mixture into balls. Stick a lollipop stick into each ball and chill for about 30 minutes until firm.
4.
Sift the icing sugar into a bowl and stir in just enough water to give a thick coating consistency.
5.
Sprinkle the sugar sprinkles onto a large plate.
6.
Remove the balls from the fridge, dip them into the icing, then coat in the sugar sprinkles and place in a glass or cup. Leave to set.
